Keep Your Cats and Floor Clean with the Neater Feeder

The Neater Feeder is a new dog and cat feeding station that has been designed to effectively prevent drips or spills on the floor or carpet by keeping the pet’s food and water securely in the provided mess proof pet bowls.

I was given a Neater Feeder System as a gift and I thought, “Wow, this is going to be great!”, because my daughter’s little kitty cat usually makes little messes and while eating, he spills water and food on the carpet. Also, four skid proof leg extensions for taller pets are available and I highly recommend them to anyone that has a large or unusually tall cat or dog. The color of my unit is bronze, but it also comes in a burgundy color and accommodates cats up to 6” in shoulder height.  With a stylish design and colors that match practically any décor, the Neater Feeder for dogs and cats looks great in every room and can be of great benefit to both pets and humans alike.

The president of the company, Fernando Becattini, Jr. was inspired to create Neater Feeder by his beloved rescue dog named Duke and in 2009, the world’s very first and only mess proof pet feeder was born.

The Neater Feeder has been specially designed with a filter that contains and separates spilled food from spilled water without making a mess. The pet feeder effectively protects walls and flooring from damage, mold, and stains that can result from spilled food and water, renders a healthier eating environment for your pet by helping to keep eating areas clean, neat, and sanitary. The Neater Feeder also helps to keep bugs away from a pet’s food and water by reducing spills that tend to attract them. In addition to preventing spills and messes, the Neater Feeder for dogs is elevated, which helps to improve digestion, increase comfort, and reduce joint and neck strain, making the pet’s dining experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

When my daughter’s cat first saw the Neater Feeder, he did not know what to think about it. He began to march around it and tried to figure out how he was supposed to eat his food from this new and unfamiliar feeding station. Instead of accessing his food from the front opening of the Neater Feeder, he stretched his neck and put his head over the side of the feeding station, grabbed a piece of dry food from one of the bowls with his teeth, then proceeded to drop it on the floor, then he ate it.  I thought that his behavior was quite unusual and took into consideration that he probably was not used to his new pet feeder, so I gave him some more time to get used to it, but he did not like it and prefers to eat his food from a regular cat bowl.  Based on numerous positive reviews of the Neater Feeder on the internet, it appears that my daughter’s cat is a rare exception and I am sure that many cats will love it.  I think that it just depends on the individual cat and how fast he adjusts to it.  I also believe that the Neater Feeder is especially great for dogs, because unlike cats, they usually are not as finicky and adjust more quickly to different feeding stations.

In summary, the Neater Feeder is a wonderful pet feeder that prevents spills and keeps floors clean.  I wish my daughter’s kitty cat would have liked it, but he didn’t.

I still recommend the Neater Feeder, especially for dog owners, because I know that each cat is different and some cats will like it and some won’t. It is an innovative product and does exactly what it claims to do by preventing food and water spills and keeping floors clean and dry without any mess.
