Armarkat Cat Tree (Review)

Most cats like to run, jump, and climb trees. They also enjoy flexing and digging their nails into some tree bark, but since our lovely furry friends live inside a house, apartment, or other indoor dwelling place, they do not have that opportunity to climb, sit, and dig their claws into an actual tree unless they are outdoor kitties. So, the perfect replacement for them to have some indoor fun would be a specially made cat tree. I have found the perfect one and it is called the Armarkat Cat Tree. 

I was so excited to have been given a cat tree as a gift and I know that my cat was just as excited as I was.  

Armarkat has been designing and making cat trees since 1993. The company has an outstanding reputation and is known in the industry for its top quality and well made products. I found that the cat tree is well made, sturdy, and has three tiers with a cubby hole for our cat to jump and hide in on the lower third tier. Also, the cat tree has pillars made of scratching material for kitties to scratch and the pillars are securely screwed into the cat tree to hold the entire structure up. 

The material that covers the soft platforms that our cat lays down on to rest and play is made of high quality fabric and the tiers of the tree are positioned very well. 

When my daughter was helping me to put it together our cat got so excited while she was assembling it. We stayed at an Airbnb and took the cat tree with us. My daughter assembled it at the Airbnb and our cat immediately jumped on it and fell asleep on the top tier platform. 

Because the cat tree is a small/medium size and not too tall, that is why it is so easy to assemble and fits into smaller spaces. It is an excellent cat tree to take with you on short vacations and excursions away from home, because it can easily be assembled and disassembled in minutes, the parts are not too heavy, and it is easy to transport in a vehicle while traveling with your cat. 

From my observation and personal experience, I believe that a cat tree can benefit a cat of any age in its everyday life. It provides them an outlet for exercise, fun, relaxation, and a place where they can hide and call their own. Our cat truly enjoys her Armarkat Cat Tree and has been enjoying the same tree for more than three years now. Yes, this cat tree is very well made and has stood the test of time.

When my daughter’s cat first saw the Neater Feeder, he did not know what to think about it. Instead of accessing his food from the front opening of the Neater Feeder, he stretched his neck and put his head over the side of the feeding station, grabbed a piece of dry food from one of the bowls with his teeth, then proceeded to drop it on the floor, then he ate it.  I thought that his behavior was quite unusual and took into consideration that he probably was not used to his new pet feeder, so I gave him some more time to get used to it, but he did not like it and prefers to eat his food from a regular cat bowl.  Based on numerous positive reviews of the Neater Feeder on the internet, it appears that my daughter’s cat is a rare exception and I am sure that many cats will love it.  I think that it just depends on the individual cat and how fast he adjusts to it.  I also believe that the Neater Feeder is especially great for dogs, because unlike cats, they usually are not as finicky and adjust more quickly to different feeding stations.

In summary, the Neater Feeder is a wonderful pet feeder that prevents spills and keeps floors clean.  I wish my daughter’s kitty cat would have liked it, but he didn’t.

I still recommend the Neater Feeder, especially for dog owners, because I know that each cat is different and some cats will like it and some won’t. It is an innovative product and does exactly what it claims to do by preventing food and water spills and keeping floors clean and dry without any mess.
